Brunswick Nexus f(P+F) Solid Bowling Balls
Science and bowling have always been connected, but never have they been so perfectly entwined. Introducing the most aggressive ball in the history of Brunswick, the Brunswick Nexus f(P+F) Solid bowling ball!ADDAPTIVE f(P+F) SOLID COVERSTOCKThe Addaptive f(P+F) Solid coverstock is Brunswick's newest innovation in performance enhancing additive chemistry. f(P+F) describes our latest formula that combines our new (P)rojection and our new (F)riction additives together to create our most aggressive coverstock to date. The Projection additive easily pushes the super aggressive coverstock down lane where the Friction additive kicks in gripping the backend for unprecedented traction. Being able to combine multiple additives in a coverstock allows Brunswick to effectively fine tune the length, mid-lane and backend characteristics of the ball motion.NEXUS ROTOR COREThe new Nexus Rotor core integrates a center stabilizing capsule and two vertical flip claws. The center stabilizing capsule revs quickly to control the mid-lane. As the axis migrates and the core lays down, the vertical flip claws take over maintaining the rev rate for a strong continuation through the backend and powerful drive through the pins.BALL MOTIONWe did it again! The Nexus f(P+F) is so strong we had to add columns to the Ball Comparison chart and increase our Hook Potential scale to describe this ball. With its 1500-grit Siaair micro pad finish, the Nexus f(P+F) offers our highest hook potential of any Brunswick ball to date. With an extremely aggressive ball motion the Nexus f(P+F) skids through the front, saves axis rotation in the mid-lane and grabs the backend with a strong response to friction.REACTION SET UPThe Nexus f(P+F) can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for asymmetric bowling balls.LIGHTWEIGHT ENGINEERINGThe unique core shape of each individual ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consis

    Brunswick Focus Zone Bowling Balls
Brunswick's International Series has been developed specifically for Asian markets using core and coverstock systems that provide international bowlers with a range of equipment that matches up to typical international lane conditions. The looks of International Series balls are also adapted to Asian tastes making the International Series completely customized for Asian bowlers. Available only through International Distributors.Reaction CharacteristicsThe Focus Zone combines a Rough buff Activator Hybrid coverstock with the update version of the asymmetric Phantom core system. The result is a ball reaction that is clean through the heads with a strong reving type of roll that promotes mid-lane recovery and a powerful but continuous breakpoint.Response TimeTo understand the International Zone Coverstocks better we will be using a 1-10 number scale system after the coverstock name to describe Response Time. Response Time is how fast or slow the ball changes direction when it encounters friction. The Higher the number the Faster the ball will change direction similar to Skid/Snap. The Lower the number the Slower the ball will change direction similar to Smooth Arc.UtilityOut of the box: With its Rough Buff surface most players will find the Focus Zone matches up well on medium to oily lane conditions. If your Focus Zone goes too long: Dull the surface with 800-grit or rougher abrasive to get the Focus Zone to roll sooner and increase its hooking action. If your Focus Zone hooks too early: Polish your Focus Zone with Brunswick's Factory Finish High Gloss Polish to increase the length through the front part of the lane.Reaction SetupThere are additional layout considerations for a ball with a significant Preferential Spin Axis (PSA) such as the Focus Zone. The distance from the riser pin still determines the overall strength of the layout the same way it does in symmetric core balls that have an insignificant PSA. In the Focus Zone, placement of the PSA locator relative t
